Throughout life, at some point, you may feel defeated. Worrying about what is on the surface, while forgetting what is still rooted underneath. Hidden within, forever growing, a life of peaceful wonder, gathering strength while waiting for you to finally see. A little wilted but still very much alive.

May it be the story, at first glance, of the one that now is considered nothing but a ghost to its once “perfect” past.

Or the one with the look of perfection, even when it gets caught in the storm. Reaching out to please its audience until the show finally comes to an end, as the curtains draw to a close and the applause slowly fades away.

Oh yes, let us not forget, the one that stands out from the crowd. Drawing
“negative” attention through judgmental eyes as person(s) quickly turn the other way. Allowing one last glance as they gawk from a distance unable to wrap their perfect little minds around why someone would want to be so different. Gossiping to each other “they must just need the attention”. As you stand with your head held high, allowing yourself to be proud of the person you have become, with a story unbeknownst to the one who wouldn’t think of stopping to get to know you for you and not the cover in which they so quickly judged.

As you hide beside the garden or follow quietly within, point out the key to finding their own secret garden in the end. All they must do it stop and listen for the sound which will lead the way to the path in which they will soon need. Allowing them to show others that they too can slow down and just breath.
